Your body cannot function to its full potential when it is overloaded with toxins. Every one of us is exposed to thousands of harmful chemicals every day that wreak havoc on our health. Your diet, lifestyle and genetics determine how you handle these exposures. If you suffer from fatigue, brain fog, anxiety/overwhelm, skin issues, weight gain, joint pain, asthma, allergies, hormone imbalances, and more, it could be due to an elevated toxic body burden.
The Golden Road 365 Detox is a food-based, whole life, and consciousness program to help you live a cleaner, healthier life. It is an in-depth medical detoxification program designed to teach you the “how” and “why" behind every step you take. This educational program arms you with the information needed to reduce your toxic exposure and to enable your body to process and eliminate toxins more efficiently.
In the 32 modules, you will learn how to detoxify your home and body, which foods to eat to turbo-charge your liver, and accelerated ways to promote toxin elimination. You will also get a shopping list, recipes, detox tools, low-toxin brand recommendations, and more. Learn how to increase your energy, balance your hormones, lose stubborn weight, halt accelerated aging, improve your skin, and calm your mind, by boosting your body's natural detoxification pathways.
Dr. Courtney King, MD is double board certified in Family and Integrative Medicine. She has drawn from her additional extensive training in Functional, Ayurvedic, and Chinese Medicine to create this transformative detoxification program. You get cutting-edge, science-based medical approaches, blended with ancient Eastern Medicine detoxification practices and mind-body therapies.
Join Dr. Courtney as she supports you through a 21-day detox jumpstart twice each year. She designed this program for herself, her family and community to be a realistic, down-to-earth, sustainable program. She joins you, every step of the way, and answers all of your questions in the private 365 Detox Facebook group. Here she will share more recipes, videos of her protocols, and her personal bumps in the road.
While recommended twice a year, you can begin the 21-day jumpstart anytime it is convenient for you. You are given all the tools you need to start on your own, and you will have access to all the videos and Q&As from the group. Dr. Courtney typically runs the detox between Memorial Day and 4th of July (to reduce those summer toxins), and again between Halloween and Thanksgiving (to get you ready for the Holiday season!).

Dr. Courtney King is board certified in both Family Medicine, and in Integrative Medicine. She is a Functional Medicine Practitioner, a Medical Acupuncturist, and is also trained in Ayurvedic Medicine. As an advocate for science-based natural and holistic treatments, she finds and addresses the root cause of dis-ease for the whole family.
Courtney was born and raised in Atlanta, Ga., and graduated from Brown University with a very liberal arts degree in Psychology. After graduation, she spent 2 years traveling around the world, climbing mountains, and teaching scuba diving. Upon return to the states, she taught kids skiing and trained to be a Wilderness First Responder in Tahoe, then settled down in San Francisco. Realizing her calling to Medicine, she completed medical prerequisite classes at SF State, ran a tutoring business for kids with ADHD, and did medical volunteerism throughout Peru and Brazil. She then returned to her home state to attend the Medical College of Georgia.
During Medical school she studied Complementary and Alternative Medicine with Dr. Andrew Weil in Tucson, learned Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in Beijing, worked with a shaman to understand deeper spiritual healing in the Sacred Valley of Peru, and in off time did medical volunteer work in underserved areas in Ghana, Mali, Togo and Benin.….in addition to the traditional allopathic med school curriculum.
After med school, Dr. King completed training in Medical Acupuncture through the Helms Institute, and completed an Ayurvedic Practitioner course at the Dhyana Center, before starting her Family Medicine residency in Fort Collins, CO.
There, she spent elective rotations working with Integrative and Functional doctors in the community, while treating patients in her traditional clinic. After residency, she and her family chose to settle down in beautiful Sonoma County, Ca. where she accepted a job at a large medical group.
After 7 years of working as a Family doctor in the current medical system, Dr. King became overly aware of the limitations that “conventional” medicine posed. Feeling frustrated with the hindering time constraints, limited lab testing, suffering patients with “normal range labs”, side-effects from pharmaceutical medications, and not getting to really know many of her 1850 patients, she knew she had to make a change.
Courtney started Golden Road Integrative and Functional Medicine to create more meaningful patient relationships, and to help people heal their roots, elevate their minds, and enjoy their life!
She lives in Santa Rosa, California with her husband, 2 young kids (one boy and one girl), and their Boston Terrier, Topper.
